By using either of these two types of menu you give your site design familiarity and this will ensure that visitors know how to navigate it almost instinctively from the first time they visit. This of course is highly valuable and will make your site much more popular than if visitors are left wondering how to get from page to page. Normally a web design will include no more than ten items on this
menu for simplicity`s sake, and if it does ten these items should be grouped under headings, or should be included in drop menus that pop out to show more options when you hold the mouse over them.
